After many weeks of moderately hard work, the Chemistry ISU was finally tested today. OURS WORKED!!! Wheee. Go Norris. I'm keen on xenon! Ahahaha! We got the bonus marks for being the best group. And they all thought we were retarded... little did THEY know.

Ok, so today I was just sitting there in the living room watching a rerun of "The Nanny", which is actually pretty funny once you get past the voice issue, when the phone rings. I go to get it and this guy is like "Hey is Julia there?" and I was like "yeah..." and then the guy tells me he works at Much Music and asks if I entered a contest for Weezer wristbands. My heart starts beating a little faster and my mouth a little drier and I say "yeah...". The guy tells me his name, which forgot right away... I wasn't really paying attention (even though Sarah is always telling me I should really listen when people talk to me) but that's not the point. Well basically, the guy tells me I would get to go see Weezer when they play at Much on Saturday if I could answer a couple of skill testing questions. I thought he was gunna ask me algebra stuff for some reason and I panicked ... fortunately he didn't. He asked me Weezer questions. Which is what would be expected by any normal person. The so called "skill testing questions" were so easy ... ahahaha! After answering all of them correctly, he says "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE WON WRISTBANDS TO GO SEE WEEZER." After listening to him explain how to pick up my wristbands (this I paid attention to) I calmly thank him and hang up the phone. I stood in the kitchen, wondering if it was a dream. Then I pick up the phone and call Lindsay. Unfortunately, I forgot her phone number in my dazed stupidity and had to look it up. Once I located the number I forget to dial 905. Ahhhh!. To make a long story short, Lindsay is coming w/ me on Saturday and now I have to go study for the chemistry test. Which is tomorrow. Tune in next time for more boring highlights of my life.

I must be the most boring person on earth. MTV movie awards on tonight. Must go tape. Weezer. I've become obsessed. Can't make proper sentence. Cheese is good. They don't make stationary like this where I'm from ... so fragile, so refined.

Weezer day! Couldn't go to sleep last night, ended up falling asleep at like 3 30 in the morning. Woke up at nine, anticipation running through my veins. I noticed that no one else was up, so in my excitement, I decided to wake up the whole house by playing the piano. Met Lindsay at the Go station at around 11:15. That was the l o n g e s t train ride in my entire life. It was cool though cuz this man came up to us on the train and dropped a keychain on the seat next to mine. Apparently he's a deaf person who supports himself by selling keychains for $3. Cool. So we get to Toronto, and since I used my subway money to buy the keychain from the nice man, Lindsay and I decided to walk from Union to the Much building. Bur first we had to get film. Took us a while but we finally walked to the Eaton center. There we spent some time looking for film and stopped by the music world there to pick up Pinkerton, for myself and the blue album for lindsay. The girl working there was nice. She got to go to the weezer concert on friday and she told us about it. We decided that we should make our way to the Much building, but we got lost in the mall....FINALLY we get to the much building around 1:30. It was really confusing because there were just a bunch of people standing around, or sitting, and some had won wristbands like me or were just sitting there. Unsure of where to line up, we just sat near the windows and tried to see what was happening inside. Met some cool people in line though, couple of die hard weezer fans, one guy that we talked to ended getting to ask a question, took some pictures. Around 2:15 they gave us our wristbands and at 3:00 they were taking the people inside, bit by bit. We were soooo lucky. Lindsay and I ended up standing in a spot that was like the length of my forearm away from one of the band member's chairs. We weren't sure who was gunna be there, cuz at first there were three chairs, but they took away one of them after like half an hour. Oh my god, even though only Rivers and Pat from the band showed up, it was still really amazing. The only bad part(s) were: well, the guy that kept standing in front of me (but i made him switch spots w/ his girlfriend so its all good), didn't get a performance (that's ok though), wasn't close to getting anything signed, couldnt' take pictures and the fact that weezer didn't go to the window, even though some of the people had been waiting there since 6:00 IN THE MORNING!!!! But we waited in the parking lot area for a bit and we saw them leave. I took a picture of their van. I think i mite have gotten Rivers' hand in it. Overall it was an amazing day, cept for the creepy old man on the bike that kept talking to me....eeeewww. Just because i was wearing a t-shirt that had a picture of a cat on it doesn't mean you can call me that....

Been a while since last updated. Not much going on. Exams are finally over and summer is here. Whee.... oh, theres a family of raccoons living under the deck. it's exciting. hmmm...nothing else. Thank god for the cheat sheet during the chem exam. I don't know what I would have done without it. I think exams are dumb. Maybe cuz I'm dumb. Who knows? Stupid acid from chemistry burned holes in my pants. Now I have two pairs of un-holey pants. And I sat in gum in one of them. Geez louise. Cheeseburgler.
I don't know why I bother signing, Julia

Oh my. So tired. Went downtown T.O. today, did a little shopping on Queen, and a lot of eating at Daniela's family's restaurant. I feel like I'm always there, and that ain't cool. Let's see...at least today there was no creepy old homeless man, cept for the one I gave my money to (he was standing really close and was kinda scary). Hmm got to the train station 2 seconds after the train left but still decided to run to the platfrom to make sure. Dammit! Uh, yeah nothing exciting happened. Learnt a few Bosnian bathroom words which might come in handy never...

Three months since the last update. Wowee. Well, let's see...what am i forgetting here??? WEEZER!!! Last night was so amazing. *wink wink* It all started when my mom picked us up at school. IT WAS POURING! Rain rain rain! Fortunetly, my mom is a problem solver. She grabbed an umbrella for me to share with someone, and some garbage bags so Zach could make an outfit out of them to keep himself dry. Haha. GARBAGE BAG! We got there at around 4, and took our place in line. Right away, we realized how cold and wet it was and made Melitard, Lindsay and Zach go for a Timmy's run. Adrienne and I put the garbage bags to good use by sitting on them. There were two guys in front of us. One was super nice, and the other (the one that didn't talk to us) was well, hot. I was shaking with cold and the guy offered me some of his hot chocolate. Nice guy. We met a lot of nice/interesting/cool people in line. Like the guy I had a crush on, "fran"...ha! They let us in at 6, and after a very very long pee, we headed in, towards the stage. Oh the fun! The Start opened. Meh, twas alright. Then...WEEZER....oh where to begin? The crowding/pushing...the tall fat guys in front of us...the rotten corn smell...the little girl with the pointy elbows...the guy that was standing too close so i screamed into his ear...the girl with the fluffy hair that managed to make its way into Zach's mouth...everything! It was all worth it.
Setlist: Island in the sun, Garage, Crab, Knock down drag out, So low, Photograph, Tired of sex, jonas, do you want me to stay, smile, we go together, undone, don't let go, say it aint so, glorious day, hash poop, only in dreams (AMAZING!!!), buddy holly, and surf wax...
Afterwards, i got lost. Took me forever to find them, i didn't realize how many people were actually there. I'm too tired to continue...
To be continued....
